Project Manager - Cork

Mana Talent is partnering with a leading Cork-based engineering and project management consultancy to hire an experienced Project Manager.

Our client is an established independent consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Industrial, Commercial and Public Sector environments.

The team supports clients throughout the full project lifecycle, from concept and feasibility through design, approvals, procurement, construction, commissioning and final handover.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Project Manager to join the Cork team and take an active role in the delivery of a varied portfolio of projects.

You will work alongside an experienced Project Management and Design team, with strong technical support and mentoring while having genuine ownership of your projects.

The role will involve input across all areas of project delivery, including:

Project planning and coordination
Design team management
Health & Safety
Programme and schedule management
Cost and quality
Tendering and contractor procurement
Local Authority approvals
Client and stakeholder meetings
Construction-stage support
Commissioning and project handover

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

We would be interested in speaking with candidates who have:

Minimum 5 years' relevant industry experience
A background as a Project Manager, Project Engineer, Design Engineer or Architect
A qualification in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline
Experience gained within a consultancy, contractor or client-side environment
Good understanding of project stages, multidisciplinary design teams and standard industry practices
Ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and deliver against project deadlines
Strong communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills
Experience inspecting construction works
Good Health & Safety awareness
Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Experience within pharmaceutical, life sciences or industrial projects would be particularly valuable.

Experience with contract documentation, Planning, DAC and FSC applications would also be advantageous.
